Important Service Disclaimers
Story Protocol
We are not responsible for the Story Protocol blockchain and its operation/status. Lyra AI provides an interface to interact with Story Protocol, but we have no control over the blockchain's operation, availability, or security. Any issues with the blockchain itself are outside our control.
Wallet Technology
We use Owl Protocol (owlprotocol.xyz) for web3 wallets, which leverages Multi-Party Compute infrastructure by DFNS (dfns.co) for secure threshold signature protected wallets. At no point do we ever know the private keysto your wallet.
API Keys
Each project has an internal API key, which you have access to on request. However, this API key is provided by our third-party web3 service provider, Owl Protocol. We are not responsible for what you do with this key, and we are not responsible for safeguarding that key. If Owl Protocol loses or exposes your key, the responsibility lies with them. You should assume this key has access to your IP assets and more. Web3 savvy users should transfer assets to a non-custodial wallet they control for maximum security.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lyra AI's platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
Description of Service
Lyra AI provides a platform for users to interact with AI tools and blockchain technology, specifically for registering and monetizing intellectual property assets on Story Protocol. Our services include but are not limited to AI-assisted content creation, blockchain registration of intellectual property, and asset management.
User Registration and Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Security Breach Reporting
If you suspect your API key is breached, lost, or compromised, contact us immediately at security@lyramusic.ai. We will do our best to revoke the key, but we have no liability for any damages resulting from unauthorized access. Remember that we have no access to private keys, as we use multi-party compute technology.
Intellectual Property Rights
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in content you create and upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content as needed to provide our services.
However, by registering your assets on the blockchain, you acknowledge that certain information related to those assets becomes public and immutable. This action cannot be undone, even if you delete your account with us.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware or other harmful content
- Conduct fraudulent activities or misrepresent yourself
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Lyra AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any actions or transactions via blockchain technology
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
- Issues with Story Protocol or other blockchain platforms we interface with
- Compromised API keys provided by Owl Protocol
- Any other matter relating to the Service
Third-Party Services
Our Service relies on third-party services, including but not limited to Story Protocol, Owl Protocol, and DFNS. We do not control and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. We cannot guarantee the continued availability, security, or functionality of these services.
By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that Lyra AI shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of such third-party services.
Blockchain Risks
Using blockchain technology involves inherent risks. These include but are not limited to volatility in cryptocurrency values, changes in underlying blockchain protocols, regulatory uncertainty, and potential security vulnerabilities.
You acknowledge these risks and agree that you are solely responsible for understanding the implications of using blockchain technology. Lyra AI does not provide financial or investment advice and makes no warranties regarding the value, security, or suitability of blockchain assets.
Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Note: Termination of your account does not affect content you have already deployed to public blockchains, which will remain permanently accessible.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lyra AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California.
